DESTINY

Usually when I make a doll I begin with their face. That way we can begin to communicate early and the doll can tell me who she wants to be. I usually begin with a plan for each doll but they interject twists and turns along the way. Except for this doll. She came out exactly as I had planned. Tight lipped and very mysterious she refused to even tell me her name. I was working on her at  our state fair with the Guilded Lilies, my local doll club and as I was leaving a woman stopped and asked to see her. Instantly the doll told this woman her name was Destiny. And so it is.

Destiny was requested as a workshop. The original doll was only 11 inches tall and I knew the students would go mad trying to turn those tiny fingers so I redesigned her in a 17 inch tall version. Since I never make two dolls exactly alike there are some variations.

The second Destiny has torn her dress on secret rendezvous' as you can see below. Her lace backed cape that looks like a spider web, which goes along with the tattoo on her breast. She has stiletto heels, fish net stocking and of course, black lace panties.

This doll is available for purchase.
