Harvest Moon Fairy was the original design for the
cloth doll workshop called
Gemini: The Fairy of Two Seasons. In the Gemini workshop students create two fairies with
individual costuming for each doll. Two detailed faces allow the workshop to focus on color combinations and makeup
techniques for flat faces taught in Judy's traditional step-by-step method.
Harvest Moon wears a raggedy layered skirt and leaf speckled over skirt as well
the Mid Summer's Eve Fairy with a pants and midriff combination including bead
work. This workshop also teaches the options for mitten hands or individual
fingers with nails and shaping details, options for fairy wings, shoes and hair
varieties. Gemini has been a successful on-line doll workshop at Doll Heaven and
Doll Street.
